New Results was founded in 2010 by Nevil Tynemouth as a sales and management coaching and training company. Nicola Tynemouth soon joined the business full time and Mike Lever joined the partnership in 2012.
NRT are based in Houghton-le-Spring, North East England but work with companies all over the UK.
The project ran from July to November 2013.
Although all three partners came from a solid corporate background – well-known brands – they were struggling to recruit ‘marquee clients’ as a relatively new business. They wanted to raise their profile and position their brand clearly to a target audience, but within the financial constraints of a start up.
We worked together to shape a marketing strategy underpinned by content marketing. It was a good fit with their skills and experience, as well as budget. We conducted competitor benchmarking, which helped the team to established their value proposition (and USP), developed a marketing and communications strategy and implementation plan to make sure they were able to keep on track, however busy. NRT have consistently blogged and vlogged for some years now and it has greatly raised their profile, as well as demonstrating their extensive knowledge and approach.
We also helped them segment and streamline their databases and created a direct email marketing campaign to ‘cold’ contacts.
Outcome / Outputs
Although New Results was a new business, Nevil, Nicola and Mike had a deep well of experience and it didn’t take long, with the right communication channels, to win their first big clients. They have gone on to create licensed training products and are in demand as speakers nationwide.
They now count a number of big well-known brands as clients, but continue to demonstrate, share and deliver unique insights in all the content they create, publish and share.
